LAFCO operates under State law. The law is commonly referred to as the Cortese, Knox, Hertzbert Act of 2000. The law commences in Government Code Section 56000. Below is the most update to date version of the law as of 2022.
San Luis Obispo Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
